My name is John Coyle and my interest in woodwork goes back to when I left school in England to commence work as an apprentice carpenter but later moved into engineering and qualified with a trade. Since arriving in Australia in 1982 again I worked in the engineering sector however during this time I decided to have lessons in woodturning and have now been woodturning for 15 years, my hobby as now turned into a business, and now back to doing what I enjoy the most working with wood. I take extreme pride in my work and aim to deliver quality,
unique Australian hardwood pieces that you will not find on the floor of your average furniture store.
All my pieces are made from kiln dried Australian timbers with all joinery being traditional 'Mortise and Tenon" (for added strength) and finished with 3 coats of either 'Rustins Danish Oil' or a 'Two part glass Finish' (the latter of which is Heat resistant).
I personally deliver my furniture in the Melbourne Metro area at an agreed date and time. Further to this, Intersate deliveries can be arranged if required.
